Prof. Kolawole O. Soyebo
Prof. Kolawole Olamijulo Soyebo obtained B. Sc. degree in Home Economics (Resource Management and Extension) in 1997, M.Sc. and PhD in Agricultural Extension and Rural Sociology in 2001 and 2005, respectively with specilization in Resource Management from the Obafemi Awolowo University (O.A.U), Ile-Ife, Nigeria. As the best undergraduate student of his set in his Department; he was a recipient of Faculty of Agriculture Marketing Board Scholarship in 1995/96 Session.
Prof. Soyebo joined the services of the OAU as a Graduate Assistant in September 1, 1999. As a Family Resource Management guru, he has published his research outputs in reputable national and international journals. He has attended several academic conferences and workshops both in Nigeria and abroad. He is a member of many professional associations and presently, he is the General Secretary of Family and Consumer Sciences Society of Nigeria (FACSSON). He is a member of editorial boards of some reputable journals and Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Consumer Sciences. He was offered an appointment as Associate Professor in the Department of Home Economics Education, University of Education, Winneba, Ghana, between August 1, 2016 and July 31, 2017. He has successfully supervised four Master Philosophy candidates.
