Ms. Taiwo Bamidele received her B.Ed degree in Home Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University and her M. Sc and M. Tech degrees in Clothing and Textiles and Textile Design from the Federal Universities of Agriculture and Technology, in 2011 and 2016 respectively. Her work focuses on clothing and textiles training as well as inculcating sustainability competencies into clothing and textile education.
Ms. Bamidele has experience in teaching Clothing and Textile Science, Pattern Drafting and Alteration, and Clothing Construction. She has received internal funding to advance her research work.
Through her research and teaching, she has been able to write up to ten landmark, well received papers in the intersection between Textile Design and Waste Management. These papers had been presented at many International conferences. She belongs to many international organizations such as Family and Consumer Science Society of Nigeria (FACSSON), Nigerian Rural Sociological Association (NRSA), Children and Youth in Agriculture Programme (CYIAP Network) and Textile Society of Nigeria (TEXSON).
