Dietitian Elijah Olayiwola Fadeiye, is a graduate of BSc. Nutrition and Dietetics with First class honor and Master of Public Health (MPH) from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife, Nigeria. He is the first sitting Dietitian in the Nutrition and Dietetics unit of the Department of Family, Nutrition and Consumer Sciences. He has vast knowledge in dietetics public health nutrition, clinical nutrition, nutritional assessment, community nutrition, nutrition survey, food security, nutrition education, therapeutic diet, and the use of diet in prevention/management of malnutrition, metabolic diseases, cardiovascular diseases, communicable and non-communicable diseases. He had proved to be an emerging leader in clinical nutrition related research in Nigeria and Africa continent with his contribution to the successful conduct of the research on Blood glucose response on consumption of cassava varieties (Garri) in healthy Nigerian subjects sponsored by Harvest Plus International and the research on Bio availability of iron fortified bouillon cubes in Healthy Nigerian women sponsored by Unilever Netherlands. He is currently undergoing PhD in Dietetics in University of Ghana, Accra, Ghana.
